Black 5 Productions is owned and operated by Aaron Gonthier. Aaron has been in the broadcast industry since 1993, working in both radio and television. In 2007, Black 5 Productions was formed to supply video productions for the railroad enthusiast market. Our first four productions were featured on the British-based website, The Railway Channel in 2007 and received great reviews. After the demise of that site, Black 5 Productions launched The Rail Channel to fill the niche that was served so well by the former Railway Channel. Our DVDs are currently distributed by Green Frog Productions, Ltd of Douglasville, GA. You can purchase our DVDs online by going to The Rail Channel Store and ordering through our secure online ordering system. Why Black 5? Black 5 Video is named after a British class of steam locomotive designed to go anywhere, do anything and do it well day in and day out. It is this philosophy that drives Black 5 Productions. We produce radio and TV programs, commercials for both radio and TV as well as our popular line of Black 5 Video DVDs. We maintain a standard of quality for all our productions and we seek to do all that we do with excellence and precision. |
